Shurat HaDin-Israel Law Center’s lawsuits have sent shockwaves through the entire network of terror funding. Merely one decade ago, terror money flowed freely throughout Western financial institutions and into the hands of terrorists; today the fear of court-ordered seizures resulting from civil suits has caused drastic changes:

Assisted in achieving a 60% reduction in terror activity in the Gaza Strip after we stopped international wire transfers to Palestinian terror zones, driving Hamas and other extremist groups to resort to smuggling funds through tunnels.

Forced banks to sever business ties with terror-financing entities and to thoroughly investigate current account holders by filing unprecedented lawsuits against them.

Assisted in obstructing Iran’s access to hard currency used to support Palestinian terrorist groups.

Strategic Offensive Planning: “Lawfare”

Shurat HaDin is leading the fight against those calling for boycotts and sanctions against the Jewish state, and those engaged in the perilous international campaign to delegitimize the Jewish State and challenge its right to exist:

Successfully blocking a hostile flotilla intent on breaching the Israeli coastal blockade of Gaza by warning maritime insurance carriers and a satellite communication company that providing services to the flotilla could subject them to legal liability for aiding terrorists.

Seeking to remove the tax exempt status of organizations that promote boycotts, thereby using the legal system to counter boycotts against Israeli companies and academics.

Filing amicus curiae petitions in Israel’s High Court of Justice on behalf of the IDF and intelligence branches.

Protecting IDF soldiers from war crime indictments by compelling a Spanish court to close a war crimes probe by preparing a similar indictment against a senior Spanish official.

Filing war crimes complaints at the International Criminal Court against Mahmoud Abbas, Khaled Mashaal, and against Turkey on behalf of Cypriots.
